POSITION DESCRIPTION: The site supervisor is responsible for the health and safety of children assigned to the center. Oversee the center's daily operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to staff assigned to the site;
- Monitor child attendance;
- Organize and conduct parent meetings in collaboration with family services and education staff;
- Ensure parent participation activities;
- Comply with Head Start and Early Head Start regulations, performance, standards, and licensing requirements and all other applicable state, local and federal guidelines;
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting/submission of employee time sheet;
- Prepare and submit monthly reports;
- Conduct monthly fire drills, collect daily meal counts;
- Demonstrate familiarity with personnel policies, performance standard, work plan and objectives of Agency;
- Fulfill role as mandated reporter as stated in Child Abuse and Neglect Policy;
- Implement policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration/Accounting, Education Administration, or related field with a minimum 15 credits in Early Childhood Education;
- One (1) year of Teaching experience preferred;
- Teaching Certification preferred.
