Job Title: Site ManagerLocation: West Virginia Rate: $600 - $800 Per DayAbout the Opportunity:Our client is preparing proposals for upcoming large-scale combined cycle power plant projects and is assembling a dedicated proposal and execution team. This team will support project development through estimating, planning, constructability reviews, and execution strategies. Upon project award, the team will transition to the field for full project delivery.Position Overview:The Site Manager will lead the overall construction execution of a large EPC project, overseeing all field activities from pre-construction through completion. Project values typically range from $1B to $3B+ and may include 500 to 1,500+ personnel onsite. This role involves full responsibility for safety, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance across the jobsite.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all onsite project activities, including coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
  • Act as the primary contact for all client interactions at the jobsite.
  • Direct field teams including craft professionals, engineers, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure alignment with overall execution strategy and corporate procedures.
  • Support proposal phase planning and contribute to contract development and negotiations.
  • Oversee labor, equipment, material, and services budgets to maintain cost control.
  • Establish and implement site-specific procedures and security plans.
  • Develop jobsite infrastructure plans, staffing strategies, and subcontracting approaches.
  • Drive a zero-incident safety culture and ensure environmental and safety compliance.
  • Ensure construction meets engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Support execution of project automation, work packaging, and system turnover plans.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience, or 19+ years of direct field experience.
  • Proven experience delivering combined cycle power plants in a lead construction role such as Site Manager, Area Manager, or Field Superintendent.
  • 10+ years of experience in process plant or combined cycle plant construction; preference for 5+ years of specific combined cycle experience.
