Site Manager for turnkey properties 2+ locations - Goldbeck Construction : Job Details

You will be responsible for managing individual projects from contract award through to handover and completion. You will also oversee site activities and ensure health and safety compliance.

We are currently looking for support in Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff and London areas.

• Assist the Project Manager with all package scopes and sub-contractor package letting
• Procure materials within budget
• Carry out works in accordance with project and contract requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external design teams throughout the project
• Support the Project Manager in updating and monitoring the construction programme
• Organize all sub-contractor meetings on site
• Report to the Project Manager and head office as required
• Review and ensure all relevant H&S permits and sub-contractor RAMS are in place
• Conduct site health and safety reporting

• Completed studies in building construction management, estimating, quantity surveying, or related fields
• Proven experience as a lead construction manager for 5+ years
• Experience with modular building forms and turnkey properties is desirable
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS, first aid, and asbestos awareness certificates; experience with the Considerate Contractors scheme is advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills, customer-oriented, persuasive
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
