Department: Fires Center of Excellence (FCOE), Mission Simulation Center (MSC)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The site lead reports to the PM and focuses on the overall operational, quality, environmental, and security aspects of their individual site. Responsibilities include supporting the site team, managing operations per contract, acting as the primary contact for training events via RFMSS, providing AAR data, leading troubleshooting and maintenance, validating policy adherence, and supporting range capabilities for training programs. Specific duties include:

  • Assist the Program Manager with overseeing contractor personnel and ensuring contract requirements are met.
  • Ensure performance standards are achieved across all contract aspects.
  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate shipments and movement of gear and personnel.
  • Maintain updated processes and business management guidelines.
  • Report on system effectiveness and improvement needs.
  • Implement performance collection tools like AAR.
  • Apply continuous process improvements.
  • Manage labor, technical, and logistic resources, including surge supports and reporting.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum three years as a Team/Project Manager.
  • Experience with simulations, simulators, models, and games for training.
  • Experience linking C4I applications and mission systems with JLCCTC simulation.
  • Minimum one year with recent Microsoft OS, Office, and other desktop applications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the joint level.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

  • Position contingent on contract award.
  • Extended sitting and focus required.
  • Local travel and ability to obtain security clearance required.
