Job Title: Site Layout Department: Quality

Reports to: QA/QC Director Effective Date: 04/01/2025

Job Summary:

Site Layout provides general oversight, inspections, and quality control measures, implemented by Cobalt and the respective customer, for all aspects of a construction project. Site Layout provides the experience and ability to identify and implement a high standard of project execution and completeness of deliverables to represent Cobalt's work in order to meet and/or exceed acceptable industry standards resulting in a quality product for our client(s).

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Jobsite layout with robotic total station

• Thorough knowledge of site and personnel safety methods of construction activities, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and construction equipment safety operations.

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• At least two years' prior surveying skills required.
• GPS machine control and layout experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• The Physical Requirements of this position include bending, driving stakes in the ground, hauling equipment, working in outdoor elements, and other tasks.
