On behalf of our client, CurTec USA, we are looking for an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Site Director to lead their new manufacturing facility in Westminster, SC, to further expand the company's footprint in the USA. This is an excellent career opportunity for a well-versed, charismatic manufacturing operations leader with extensive plant leadership experience in the industrial packaging solutions industry. Experience in blow- and/or injection molding processing would be the icing on the cake.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Site Director, you will oversee all operational aspects of our U.S. site, including production, supply chain, maintenance, and safety. You will play a key role in translating strategic goals into operational success, ensuring high standards in quality, efficiency, and compliance. This position reports directly to the COO at the headquarters in the Netherlands.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute annual production plans aligned with strategic goals.
- Lead and structure the production organization to meet short- and long-term objectives.
- Manage buildings, installations, and production assets; oversee investment planning and execution.
- Ensure timely and efficient production with a focus on operational excellence (OEE, assembly efficiency).
- Oversee supply chain operations, including local supplier management for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Drive safety initiatives and emergency response planning as part of the HSE committee.
- Maintain product quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 15378 (GMP), FSSC, and UN approvals.
- Apply strong financial acumen to oversee Finance, including budget execution, monthly management reporting (financial and non-financial), and Group KPI tracking.
- Ensure profitability, growth, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Monitor actual results against budgets and forecasts, adjust strategies to meet financial targets, manage cash flow, and optimize profitability.
- Represent the company to external stakeholders, including investors, government entities, and the public.
- Continuously analyze processes, identify risks, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiencies.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- BA/BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or similar.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, including 5 years of proven leadership experience in a senior management role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and logistics. Experience with blow – and/or injection molding processing would be a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical skills to identify performance gaps and a strategic vision to initiate, develop, and implement solutions.
- Strong financial acumen, result orientation, and commercial sensitivity.
- A desire for continuous improvement with a pragmatic approach and 'make it happen' attitude.
- Knowledge/experience with manufacturing metrics/KPIs and manufacturing improvement methodologies and projects, such as Lean 6 Sigma and 5S implementation, would be a big plus.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to engage, inspire, and motivate a plant organization.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Willing/able to travel internationally (occasionally).
