The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge EW programs. This role offers opportunities to enhance sensors and signals functionality in complex environments, aligning with ongoing and future projects. Collaborating with top scientists and experts, you will deepen your knowledge while taking part in impactful work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, model, and test algorithms using Matlab, Simulink, or C++.
  • Analyze simulation or real data results to identify trends and root causes.
  • Create innovative algorithms and conduct performance simulation and analysis in time series and spectral domains.
  • Participate in lab and field testing.
  • Assist in marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Engage in multiple projects, interacting directly with customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in radar signal processing.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink, and programming languages like C/C++, Java.
  • Strong knowledge of digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
  • Willingness to embrace new challenges and a passion for professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in task leadership or team management.
  • Expertise in translating functional requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Background in modeling and simulation (M&S), radar, adaptive radar, signal processing, algorithm development, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), or closely related fields.

Location: Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA

Pay Range: $85,150.00 - $153,925.00

The pay range for this position is a guideline and may vary based on several factors including responsibilities, education, experience, and skills.
