Shopfloor ME/MII Consultant - RIT Solutions : Job Details

Title- Shopfloor ME/MII Consultant Location: remote with 1 week of travel a month to HD sites in Broomfield, Colorado, Salt Lake City and Mexico sites. Duration: 12-month contract with extensions Visa-USC/GC/GC-EAD/H4-EAD Rate plus expenses

• This role is intended to provide on-site hypercare and support as we roll out several key projects at each location.
• Client plan is to begin training these individuals on the specific initiatives so they can effectively assist with local support needs.
• This role is focused on the development, support, and optimization of SAP ME/MII applications that enable real-time visibility, traceability, and operational efficiency across the shopfloor.
• The preferred consultant will have a strong background in SAP MII/ME development, web technologies (JavaScript, SQL), and manufacturing systems support.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MII and/or SAP ME development and support.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, XML, and web technologies.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting BLS, iViews, and UI5/Fiori applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP MII applications, dashboards, and reports for shopfloor users.
• Support and enhance SAP ME configurations for routing, work instructions, data collection, and production tracking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments related to SAP ME/MII applications and interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, production, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver user-focused solutions.
• Develop and optimize Business Logic Services (BLS), custom iViews, and web-based interfaces (SAP UI5/Fiori).
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy between MES and ERP systems.
• Build SQL queries, views, and data models to support reporting and analytical needs.
• Participate in site digital transformation initiatives focused on improving system visibility and performance.
• Maintain clear documentation including technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
