Shop Manager – Accountabilities and Priorities:

1) Manage the performance, engagement, and development of direct reports

a. Onboard new team members

b. Train team members

c. Provide ongoing PDPs to all employees under your supervision

d. Provide performance feedback regularly and manage activities related to performance improvement

e. Ensure availability of time to guide and support the team

f. Ensure workload is manageable and appropriate

g. Identify teammates ready for the next step in their career development

2) Drive business performance

a. Manage and deploy processes to establish a strong framework

b. Co-create and execute key KPIs

c. Drive membership growth

d. Attend and actively contribute to team meetings

e. Optimize scheduling and ensure efficient utilization of resources

f. Reduce waste and control costs

3) Champion team culture

a. Behave in line with organizational values, norms, and the Lucky 7 principles

b. Uphold company standards

c. Contribute to building and maintaining team engagement and morale

d. Celebrate team achievements

e. Schedule team development events

4) Ensure all customers experience high-quality service and hospitality

a. Define and maintain standards of excellence for service and hospitality across all CO locations

b. Provide coaching and find ways to engage the team in delivering exceptional and consistent service

c. Engage external resources to showcase best practices in service and hospitality, such as:

i. Identifying exemplary individuals in other fields to speak to the team

ii. Utilizing team members who demonstrate these standards to lead and teach by example

5) Community Outreach

a. Implement and support local grassroots events to build business and increase customer outreach

b. Collaborate with like-minded brands to generate employee partnerships

c. Organize charity and community service events

6) Financial Understanding and Shop Model Management

a. Work with the VP to understand the shop model, including revenue, costs (variable and fixed), and profitability

b. Understand the different levers in the shop model and how they contribute to profitability.
