Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Shop Manager
Amwaste is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic Shop Manager to oversee our busy diesel repair shop in Birmingham, AL during the overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics and management, with a proven track record of success in leading a team of mechanics to deliver high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of the diesel repair shop, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management.Ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Hire, train, and supervise a team of diesel mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed.Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve shop efficiency and productivity.Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inventory, and customer interactions.Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on repair status and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.Requirements:
