We strive to provide customer service that goes above and beyond the standard.Click here to view our Benefits SnapshotJOB OVERVIEWThe Shipping, Receiving, and Material Handling Personnel is responsible for managing the flow of parts and materials throughout the facility. Key duties include receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming shipments, as well as distributing and staging inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) for internal departments. This role also involves preparing outgoing shipments by ensuring accurate counts, proper labeling and packaging, and completion of all necessary documentation. Additionally, the position requires moving materials, WIP, finished goods, and other products between work centers, staging areas, and vendor locations, while consistently following all safety protocols and procedures.ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)
  • Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices, including LEAN and 6S initiatives.
  • Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments, inspecting for accuracy and damage.
  • Operate forklifts or other industrial equipment to move materials and ensure timely delivery to work centers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems and manage related clerical tasks.
  • Coordinate material flow across departments and communicate discrepancies or needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members, demonstrate strong time management, and support a clean, organized work environment.
  • Perform duties indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Support additional production needs as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience: one - three years of relevant experience, ideally in shipping/receiving and ERP systems like Syteline/CSI.
  • Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Capable of reading and understanding sales orders, inventory records, and shipping/receiving documents.

  • Strong attendance, work ethic, and communication skills.

  • Familiar with 6S, FIFO, and sound inventory/material flow practices.
  • Solid math and analytical abilities.
