Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. Job Description:Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Record receipt of incoming materials and equipment. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record and report shortages and discrepancies, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Route checked incoming materials, supplies, or equipment to the stockroom, appropriate departments, or other areas. Prepare downhole equipment to include installation of BOH's, couplings and intakes for shipping. Verify serial numbers and process outbound shipping documents and inbound receivers for downhole equipment going to or coming from a well.
