Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Shipping/Receiving Clerk must be able to perform at an entry level to pick, pack, and re-label product for shipping purposes. Assists in shipping the product out the door to our customers. Inventory is physically moved and recorded to maintain accurate records.

Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday, shift available 7:30am -4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm; 8:30am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and re-label: Re-label and re-package orders per pick list
  • Understand CMS / ERP operations, written procedures, and screens required to perform duties
  • Transfer parts to internal teams as required
  • Unload and load trucks as needed
  • Assist with cycle counts
  • Assist with physical inventory as required
  • Perform material handling tasks
  • Other non-essential duties may be assigned as necessary
  • Follow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards to which Fair-Rite is certified
  • Follow all O.S.H.A. standards and the F/R Safety Health Policy
Qualifications

Minimum Education / Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 1 3 months on the job training and or experience related to Shipping and Receiving

Preferred Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Vocational / Technical Education or Technical Training Certificate
  • 3 months on the job training and or experience in Shipping and Receiving

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
  • Requires attention to detail, accuracy is a must
  • Ability to operate CMS/ERP system effectively
  • Ability to use stairway ladder
  • Ability to operate forklift
  • Ability to operate R.F. (radio frequency) gun
  • Ability to learn and use new computer programs
