Shipping Dock Loader - Advantage Drainage Systems : Job Details

The Shipping Dock Worker/ Forklift Operator is responsible to load and unload inbound or outbound shipments with accuracy and in a timely manner. Helping on monthly cycle counts, accurately documenting all shipments and receipts, and reporting and discrepancies are all tasks of the Shipping Dock Worker/ Forklift Operator. This position requires the flexibility to work 40 hours per week, weekends as required and also fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance. The Shipping Dock Worker/ Forklift Operator reports directly to the Assistant Shipping Manager or the Shipping Manager. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment. Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance. Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Production or Yard Supervisor.
