Shipping Associate Reports to:Shipping Manager Schedule:Monday through Friday (6:30am-3:00pm). Overtime as required Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Picks product from inventory
- Packs product to customer requirements.
- Inspects completed operations for quality, visual defects, accuracy and quantity.
- Follows all shipping processes, inventory control processes and quality requirements
- Performs labeling duties to ensure proper parts and quantities are being sent to the customer.
- Pays close attention to detail and focuses on assigned tasks.
- Cooperates and supports co-workers.
- Follows all safety rules, wears all required PPE, etc.
- Demonstrates strong attention to details, high accuracy, and follow-through.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (PLEX) is a plus.
- Must have knowledge and experience in inventory control functions.
- Must be able to maintain a safe, clean, environment.
- Must be able to work and function well in a team environment.
Physical environment/working conditions: Works in a manufacturing environment in warm or cold temperatures. The individual must be able to do the following:
