Shipping Assistant - Rawlings Sporting Goods : Job Details

Shipping Assistant is responsible for the safety, quality, and production of receiving, shipping, and maintaining materials used to produce the finest sporting good products while working in a safe organized environment in the Distribution Department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, etc in compliance with all safety standards. Load and unload delivery trucks Move material and equipment between locations in DC and facility. Store material in a neat and organized manner. Pull orders accurately in accordance with the pick slips while determining total weight and cartons. Notify Supervisor of any International Picks accordingly. Notify Supervisor of any picks from National accounts after determining total cartons and weight. Communicate with delivery truck company personnel regarding pickup and delivery of shipments.
