Cadence supports many of the largest food/beverage manufacturing companies with facilities located southeast region of the United States by providing them with parts and equipment made by the leading sanitary process equipment manufacturers.

When you join Cadence Technologies as a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth.

The Shipping and Receiving role is responsible for ensuring the warehouse operations run smoothly to support the flow of products in/out and throughout the warehouse and inventory locations. In addition, this role will be critical in expediting shipments, staging deliveries and quoting unique delivery solutions to support a dynamic client base and service team.

Inventory Management:

  • Perform cycle counts to reconcile against digital records.
  • Performing requires tasks to introduce new items into inventory.
  • Manage staging of parts for service team to ensure requests are processed in a timely manner and all costs are properly transferred to their appropriate cost centers.
  • Receive incoming shipment of parts associated with projects. Organize and stage the material, kit and consolidate items based on installation schedule. Coordinate all shipments with Project Managers.
  • Support cycle counts done in the field and process inventory transfers to support our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) needs.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained to maximize product quality.
  • Leverage service team members to cross-train on warehousing tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse with clearly identified stations for project material kitted components.

Quality Assurance:

  • Perform cycle counts to reconcile against digital records.

  • Associate's degree, bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Experience working in warehousing and/or logistics.

Travel:

  • 10% to 20% - Regional travel to customer facilities for occasional cycle counts and inventory restocking of VMI cabinets.
