Shipboard Network Systems Engineer - General Dynamics Electric Boat : Job Details

The Shipboard Network Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing all aspects of the local area networks aboard US Navy Submarines. As a Shipboard Network Systems Engineer your goal will be to ensure the integrity/implementation of the network infrastructure delivering robust systems connectivity and functionality to Navy submarine crews. You will be expected to perform well in a fast-paced and results-oriented team. Duties and Responsibilities include:Design and implement network solutions that meet US DoD standards and/or improve the efficiency/coverage of current networks. Integration of government furnished information and equipment. Perform technology investigations and trade off studies. Design and implement system configurations for shipboard and laboratory uses.
