Gopuff is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Starbucks Operations team. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role is a core part of the team with the responsibility to ensure order accuracy and fast, efficient delivery to our customers. This role contributes to Starbucks' success by assisting the regional manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. The incumbent is responsible for deploying baristas and delegating tasks to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers. The position requires modeling and acting in accordance with both Starbucks standards and Gopuff standards.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks and Gopuff.Maintains a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example for the shift team.Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating the environment for cues.Communicates information to the manager to respond effectively and create a positive working environment during each shift.Assists with training new employees by reinforcing successful performance and providing respectful coaching.Provides feedback to the manager on employee performance during shifts.Creates a positive learning environment with clear, specific, and respectful coaching to ensure operational excellence and improve performance.Develops positive relationships with the shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivations, needs, and concerns.Executes store operations during scheduled shifts.Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.Maintains regular and punctual attendance.Provides quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards.Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.Works flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate store needs.Qualifications:
At least 1+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent; 1 year of leadership in a cafe is preferred.ServeSafe Certification highly preferred.Experience in Starbucks or other fast-paced cafes is preferred.Ability to work with fluid schedules.Welcoming and helpful attitude toward new team members.Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Focus on quality and pride in work.Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.Pay:
