In this leadership role, you are an internal technical master at the line level who ensures the line team is performing at a level that sustains and improves business results on one or more of 6 stars model. You model priority setting, manage the plan-do-check- adjust cycle and provide coaching and training for your team.

Working Environment

Work is performed throughout the facility. Potential hazards include proximity of moving machinery, chemical exposure, noise, or heavy lifting. The position may require an individual to stand, stoop, move equipment; bend, reach, or lift for prolonged periods. PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety headgear.

What You'll Need To Succeed - Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all personnel levels.

  • Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures and ensure clear communication of all procedures

  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment

  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills

  • Proven front-line supervisory skills and ability to lead utilizing a team-based approach to decision making

  • Must have a basic knowledge of technical machinery or process equipment

  • Must understand sanitation, change-over, KPI, GMPs and PM process

  • Ability to handle disciplinary actions and proper documentation.

How you will Contribute :

In your likely first managerial role, you will ensure that Mondelez International's safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets are achieved for the lines for which you are responsible by breaking down section targets into line and unit targets and ensuring that employees understand their individual performance goals related to the overall targets. In this role, you will also develop budgets and be responsible for costs control management, governance and compliance, loss elimination and workforce planning, including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and the identification of high potential team members. Without you, we would not be able to deliver high-quality snacks to our customers.

  • Autonomous maintenance (AM) systems and progressive maintenance (PM) systems

  • Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment

  • Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM, and PM

  • Leading line teams

  • Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully

  • Influencing people in a union environment

  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and a good attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree - Preferably in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or similar field

  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills

  • Proven front-line supervisory skills and ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making

  • Understanding, and experience on Manufacturing processes

  • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking the English language

Preferred Experience:

  • ?IL6S | TPM | Lean experience preferred

  • SAP preferred

  • Food industry experience

  • Critical thinking

  • Union experience preferred

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday

  • 1st shift (7:00am - 3:00pm)

  • Schedule flexibility is required

Salary and Benefits:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,100.00 - $76,400.00; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
