Shift Engineer - Seasonal - Hyatt Hotels Corporation : Job Details

This seasonal position will end October 2025. This position will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. A Shift Engineer will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems, using a windows-based computer system. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is preferred, along with basic trouble-shooting skills. What You'll Do:Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
