Shelter Monitor - The Salvation Army in the Midwest : Job Details

The Salvation Army Midland Division Shelter located in Jefferson City, Missouri, is looking for an individual who would like to apply their experiences, to fill our Shelter Monitor position. We ask that this position maintains shelter security. Perform related duties to maintain control and assist homeless clients in the shelter. Each monitor is responsible for his/her shift. This is part-time, as needed position, with starting pay at $15.00 per hour. 927 Jefferson St, Jefferson City, Missouri Essential Functions Assure safety of residents in building and on grounds by actively observing the people and happenings in and around the shelter and grounds. Consistently enforce shelter policies, procedures and guidelines. Intervene when appropriate to resolve problems between residents. Complete pre-screening actions to determine intake eligibility of new individuals seeking admission to the emergency shelter and complete intake processing to successfully admit individual.
