Shelter Generalist: Women's Shelter - The Rescue Mission : Job Details

Maintains a safe, clean, hospitable, and dignifying environment for all guests and residents; assisting in the provision of trauma-informed, person-first, and grace-based program services to meet the need of all who seek The Tacoma Rescue Missions care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities. Greets all guests, residents, volunteers, donors, and team members warmly, creating a welcoming environment that fosters healthy relationships. Connects and engages with residents, completing intake procedures and all necessary assessments, providing them with and referring them to resources. Oversees all shelter endeavors, ensuring rules and shelter protocol are being followed and all shelter residents are comfortable and safe. Fulfills all reasonable requests from residents, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Completes walkthroughs of the shelter and campus at least every two hours certifying the shelter property and all its inhabitants are safe.
