We are currently accepting shelter volunteer applications for our morning shift!

• The shelter is currently not open to the public and is only by-appointment to visit the shelter.
• We are very flexible in regards to scheduling--even an hour of volunteering helps us tremendously!!
• On-site training will be provided.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Cleaning cages (scooping litter boxes, wiping down cage surfaces)
• Basic cleaning functions (dishes, laundry, sweeping/mopping floors)
• Greeting guests, answering questions, interacting with potential adopters
• Interacting with cats and kittens, providing playtime and exercise, and providing socialization.
• Providing basic grooming and care of cats as needed (clipping nails, brushing, etc.)

Currently Available Volunteer Shifts:

• ​Monday - Friday: 9am-12pm & 11am-2pm
• Saturday: 8am-11am & 11am-2pm
• Sunday: 9am-12pm

2 shifts available:

• shifts needed are 9am-12pm & 11am-2pm daily (most volunteers are able to commit to 1 shift/ day per week): 09:00 to 12:00 EST
• Afternoon shift is 11am-2pm: 12:00 to 14:00 EST
