Job DescriptionIndustrial Sewing Machine OperatorOpSource has partnered with a nonprofit corporation that specializes in the manufacturing of goods for the US military, located in Asheville, NC.Pay for the position:

• $15.00/hr

Shifts for the position:

• 1 st shift - 6am-4:30pm
• Mon-Thurs

Job requirements for the position may include:

• Perform daily equipment inspections, including verifying all safety devices are operating properly, notifying supervisor of any concerns.
• Prepare sewing machine for sewing, including threading the machine and properly inserting the bobbin.
• Operate various types of sewing machines proficiently while achieving production standards and goals.
• Notify appropriate personnel of any process/product nonconformance.
• Assist visually impaired/blind co-workers as apparent or as assigned.
