Service Technician, Reactive Fountain - Coca-Cola Refreshments : Job Details

What does a Service Technician do at Swire Coca Cola?Visit customers in assigned geography to diagnose and repair moderate to highly complex Coca-Cola beverage equipment provided to customers for resale of Coca-Cola products. Equipment includes fountain beverage dispensers, coolers, and ancillaryequipment. Visits (service orders) are generally scheduled through assigned dispatcher but can be technician generated proactively. Works under limited supervision.Responsibilities:* Diagnose multiple types of complex fountain machine equipment ( e.g. B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage, Juice Machine) to determine work, parts, and materials needed and make required repairs* Travel to and from customer locations in assigned area* Effective and appropriate interaction with customers, management, and associates* Upon completion of service call, clean and sanitize equipment, clean work area* By use of handheld device; document travel, labor, and materials (parts and supplies) use for each activity* Correctly check in and out equipment and materials (parts and supplies)* Maintain accurate parts inventory ($30-$35K est. value). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle* Performs other duties as assignedRequirements:* High School Diploma (or GED) required* Ability to complete B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage, Juice Machine, and Fundamental Skills certifications within 1 year from hire required* CFC Refrigeration Certification preferred* 2+ years experience in diagnosis & repair of consumer or commercial appliances required* 1+ years beverage service technician (EFC, Fountain install, bottle/can reactive) experience preferred* Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SAP CONA, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF reader on an iPhone and/or iPad type device* Must be at least 21 years of age* Must have a valid driver's license* Possible CDL requirement in some locations/positions* Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements* Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
