The technician will install, maintain, diagnose, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to homeowners.Responsibilities:• Install, service, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation, and ductwork.• Diagnose system problems, identify necessary repairs or replacements, and communicate solutions to customers.• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups to ensure system efficiency and longevity.• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and regulations.• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.• Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance best practices, and energy-saving options.• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.• Keep company vehicle and tools clean, organized, and in good working condition.Benefits:• Competitive pay based on experience.• Health insurance.• Retirement plan options.• Paid time off and holidays.• Ongoing training and professional development.• Company vehicle, tools, and uniforms provided.Requirements• High school diploma or equivalent.• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in residential HVAC service and repair.• Valid EPA Section 608 Certification.• Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, equipment, and safety standards.• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.• Excellent communication and customer service skills.• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces and on ladders• HVAC trade school certificationSalary Description $25-35/hr
