HVAC Mechanical Technician - Cincinnati/or Dayton, OHPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInstall heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in commercial and industrial buildingsRead and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand system layouts and specificationsConnect systems including electrical wiring, line sets, and ductworkPerform routine maintenance: clean systems, replace filters, check refrigerant levels, and calibrate controlsDiagnose malfunctions using specialized tools and diagnostic equipmentRepair or replace components such as motors, fans, thermostats, and compressorsRespond to emergency service calls, especially during extreme weather conditionsEnsure compliance with OSHA and Schneider Electric safety standardsMaintain accurate records of service history, repairs, and parts usedHandle refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulationsUtilize tools such as multimeters, pressure gauges, leak detectors, and soldering/brazing equipmentWork with HVAC equipment including RTUs, Split Systems, Ductless Split Systems, Pumps, Supply and Exhaust FansCommunicate effectively with clients to explain issues and recommend energy-efficient upgradesPerform off-hour emergency duties and other tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to effectively perform each primary duty.
