The Other Licensed Professional (OLP) services are intended to help prevent the progression of behavioral health needs through early identification and intervention, and may be provided to children/youth in need of assessment for whom behavioral health conditions have not yet been diagnosed. Services are also intended to provide treatment to correct or ameliorate a delay or problem in developmental functioning and healthy relationships for children/youth with existing diagnosis for whom flexible community-based treatment is needed. Services are delivered in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services with clients during after school hours and weekends as needed to meet client needs; responsible for meeting billable targets in an individual, family, collateral or group modality as follows: full-time providers -19-hours per week; part-time providers-11-hours per week
  • Provide services based on family's needs and requirements set by the governing agencies. Must be available to provide services via face to face and/or telehealth.
  • Provide therapeutic communication and interaction with youth and/or with client's family members for the purpose of alleviating symptoms or functional limitations associated with a child/youth's diagnosed behavioral health disorder, reversing or changing maladaptive patterns of behavior, encouraging personal growth and development, and supporting the child/youth's capacity to achieve ageappropriate developmental milestones.
  • Provide Crisis Intervention Activities either by Crisis Triage (By telephone), Crisis Off-site, Crisis Complex Care and/or follow-up
  • Attend supervision (weekly/bi-weekly with supervisor) as well as one monthly meeting with LCSW
  • Provide services as prescribed on the treatment/service plan. Maintain assigned schedule; ensure frequency, scope and duration of services is met
  • Enter progress notes & timesheet within 48 hours in the EHR. Timesheets for in person services need to have a caregiver's signature.
  • Complete monthly contact logs for over and under service utilization.
  • Monitor the youth's progress in achieving goals detailed in the treatment plan; collaborate with other care providers and community supports to help youth meet their needs
  • Update Treatment plans at least every 6 months but more often if needed
  • Review treatment/service plans with family and obtain signatures.
  • Create an initial Safety Plans within 30 days and update the safety plan as needed (minimum every six months)
  • Must understand the incident reporting process such as notify the program manager/supervisor immediately upon hearing of an incident.
  • Must ensure an incident report is completed within (24) hours of the incident and contact the child abuse hotline when required.
  • Must ensure all training is completed by the required deadline.
  • Collaborate with referral source as needed (HHCM/Foster Home/ACS).
  • The service provider must introduce themselves and schedule the initial service within 5 days of contacting the family, with a 48-hour window to make first contact.
  • Date of First Service (DOFS) form to be completed and submitted immediately following the initial contact.
  • Staff will be able to utilize JCCAs electronic health record, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), Microsoft Outlook, Chrome river and other systems required to complete roles and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree required along with one following licenses: Licensed Psychoanalysts, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) or Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
  • An understanding of the impacts of institutional and structural racism on the child welfare system and in underserved communities
  • Demonstrated solid organizational, documentation and follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams that are culturally and professionally diverse.
  • Proficient with MS Office with the ability to learn new technology platforms;
  • Strong clinical skills and strength-based perspective.
  • Bilingual/Spanish preferred

Required Certification/Licensing:

  • Active Licenses for above degrees
  • Active NPI #
  • LCSWs require Medicaid Billing number (MMIS)

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • Ability to travel to multiple work sites via public transportation
  • Repetitive movement of hands and fingers (typing and/or writing)
  • Ability to stand or walk long distances
  • Visual acuity to view documents on a computer screen for long periods of time

Hourly Range: $30.81 - $35.07
