**Essential Job Functions**

Efficiently manage and direct all service department operations

Schedule and oversee all service work

Recruit, hire, and train technicians

Handle all customer inquiries and communications

Ensure DOT and OSHA compliance

Market the service department to maintain consistent workflow

Understand the financial drivers of the service department and manage the department to ensure that it meets or exceeds goals

Manage workflow within the service department, including work schedules, employee schedules, and customer work orders

Make sure the service department has the proper supplies and tools to efficiently and effectively serve its customers

Process all administrative work associated with the service department

Model safe work habits for service department employees

Schedule delivery and pick up of all equipment

Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**

5 years of experience as a technician

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop strong business relationships

Ability to respond quickly, effectively, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees

Ability to effectively lead and manage people

Ability to handle and resolve interpersonal conflict

Strong negotiation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time

Intermediate-level computer skills, including the ability to learn new business systems and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office

**Preferred Qualifications**

Ag or construction experience preferred
