PID: 25-01-09J-003 Location: Washington, DC Job Type: Full-Time Clearance Level: Top Secret Reports To: Senior Technical Staff / Project Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a Service Desk Support Specialist (Mid-Level) with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end technologies, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices. This role provides technical support to end users, resolves complex issues, and contributes to the development and maintenance of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a blend of hands-on technical skills, analytical thinking, and customer service expertise. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
- Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of new systems and applications.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
- Perform routine system administration tasks and support Linux environments.
- Conduct performance analysis and implement scalability best practices.
- Ensure adherence to code quality, security, and standardization practices.

Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in technical support, system evaluation, installation, and configuration. 5+ years preferred for mid-level roles.
- Experience with moderately complex applications and systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
