The Service Delivery Specialist will provide direct assistance to the staff of Taylor Life Center at the Mason Corporate office. This role requires exceptional professionalism, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process discharges and case transfers by completing the required documentation and tracking communication with the assigned clinician.
- Collaborate with the billing department, supervisors, and clinicians to handle insurance verifications and issues in HBAD.
- Review service reports to identify discrepancies and follow up for corrections with responsible parties.
- Review Unsigned Documents Report to identify missing billable documents and coordinate submission.
- Manage caseload schedules for assigned case managers.
- Monitor compliance with clinician unit utilization and authorization according to the level of care.
- Audit client charts using record review tools.
- Participate in meetings as directed by your supervisor.
- Engage in quality improvement processes, including:
- Monitoring annual checklist compliance.
- Ensuring demographic data accuracy.
- Validating reporting procedures such as DD Proxy, CANS, DLA-20, BHTEDS, etc.
- Follow up on unseen consumer reports to engage clients and/or clinicians in services.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working telephone required.
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Pass all regulatory checks.
- Obtain and maintain required trainings.
- Ability to work as part of a team, assisting program staff with additional tasks as needed.
