Atlantic Chevrolet is looking for a Service Advisor to join our results-oriented team.

The Service Advisor must understand the sales process involved in advising service customers about repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, excels at developing relationships, and provides excellent CSI scores.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule service appointments in person or by phone to ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis of issues
  • Make repair recommendations and manage repair delivery by setting and managing customer expectations
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and complies with regulations and standards
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Greet all customers entering the service area professionally and friendly, answer questions, and direct them appropriately
  • Verify customer appointments and relevant information such as name, VIN, mileage, etc.
  • Arrange service or repairs and set expectations for cost and completion time

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of the sales process involved in advising service customers about repairs and maintenance
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Valid and clean NY driver's license
  • Ability to pass drug test and background check
  • Outgoing personality and strong relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and achieve high CSI scores
