Understands Steps of Service. Uses salesmanship to increase check averages. Checks id's to determine guest's legal age and upholds all state and local liquor laws (if applicable). Rings orders into POS system and communicates additional information to bartenders and cooks. Ensure proper cash, credit card, and gift card processing procedures. Meet company time standards for greeting guests, getting drink/food orders and processing payments. Ensures all food and drinks are within company standards of quality and freshness. Observes and responds to guests. Handles guest comments in a professional manner and gets management when necessary. Clean as you go, clear plates and glasses throughout the meal (pre-bus). Follows food safety and general sanitation. Have a working knowledge of the food menu. Have a working knowledge of all beverages offered. Refills beverages when necessary.
