Information Technology Specialist - Motion Recruitment : Job Details

Our client, a leader in telecommunication technology, is actively hiring a Field Deployment Technician to join their team in Elgin, IL!

This is a 6 month contract with benefits!

As a Field Deployment Technician , you will stage, configure, and test servers, switches, and networking devices to ensure they are ready for deployment. You will also troubleshoot technical issues, follow build documentation, and collaborate with the team to maintain smooth staging operations.

Responsibilities:

• Stage, configure, and test servers, switches, and firewalls for deployment
• Debug staging and sales order issues, escalating when needed
• Follow build documentation and safety standards while rotating between tasks
• Communicate progress to team leads and collaborate with development teams

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of technical experience or a relevant technical certification
• Proficiency with Windows systems; networking (Cisco/HP)
• Experience with Scripting
