You will deliver warm, attentive service to our guests during dinner hours and special events. Blume, the restaurant at Hilton Garden Inn in Troy MI, is hiring a Part-Time Evening Server who can provide friendly, attentive dinner service while also preparing basic bar drinks. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, manage tables during service, and ensure drinks are crafted accurately and responsibly. If you enjoy working in a polished, guest-focused environment and are confident behind both the bar and the dining room floor, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable, attentive service throughout their meal
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver items promptly
• Prepare standard bar drinks such as wine pours, beer, and simple mixed cocktails
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
• Be familiar with the dinner menu, specials, and wine list to answer questions and offer recommendations
• Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service
• Handle guest requests and resolve concerns with professionalism and care
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
• Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
• Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
• Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
• Assist with banquet service on occasional weekday evenings as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Hilton brand standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant service required; bar experience strongly preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Available Saturday and Sunday evenings, with flexibility for occasional weekday events
• Comfortable preparing basic bar drinks and serving alcohol responsibly
• Friendly, confident, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Able to lift trays and stand or walk for long periods
