Server - Russian River Brewing Company : Job Details

DescriptionSUMMARY Servers at our brewery are responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to all guests of Russian River Brewing Company. This includes creating a welcoming and memorable experience through friendly, efficient, responsible, and professional service. The ideal candidate is upbeat, outgoing, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication skills and a commitment to hospitality excellence. *All applicants must have at least 3 years of experience serving in a fast-paced environment, along with strong knowledge of beer and the brewing process. RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Greets customers within 1 - 2 two minutes of being seated
• Acts courteously and with sincerity toward all customers
• Ability to multi-task
• Answers inquiries about beer or menu items in a sincere and engaging manner
• Takes and inputs food and beverage orders accurately
• Coordinates with kitchen staff to clarify special requests
• Completes side work in a timely manner
• Assists customers with merchandise, growlers and bottled beer to-go and recommends additional products/items to upsell guests
• Maintains knowledge of beer selections, menu items, preparation method, ingredients, and prices
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
• Minimum 3 years of serving experience in a high volume restaurant
• Strong knowledge of beer and the brewing process

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs on your own and up to 160 lbs with help
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the main language used in the workplace
• Current ABC RBS Certification & knowledge of state liquor regulations
• Current food safety certification
