Position Overview:
Health Monitor Network (HMN) is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Vice President of Research & Insights to lead a modern research and measurement function. This role will unify third-party data, digital metrics, and market insights to drive better client storytelling, campaign performance and optimization, and internal decision-making. As HMN expands its digital offerings and evolves its product mix, the SVP will set the standard for proving value to clients, measuring investment effectiveness and staying ahead of performance expectations in the healthcare media landscape.
Essential Job Functions:
Campaign Measurement and Performance Strategy
Digital and Point-of-Care Insights
Sales Support and Client Strategy
Market Research and Intelligence
Cross-Functional Impact and Enablement
Core Competencies: Please Elaborate on each:
This role requires exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The SVP must distill complex data sets into compelling, client-ready narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences. They will be responsible for presenting insights to senior pharma clients, partnering with Sales on pitches, and contributing to thought leadership through whitepapers, presentations, and industry events.
The SVP will be expected to tackle ambiguous challenges around campaign measurement, research design, and data integration across multiple sources (e.g., IQVIA, client metrics, digital performance). They must evaluate tradeoffs, identify the most effective KPIs, and continuously refine HMN's measurement strategy in a fast-evolving healthcare media landscape. The ability to think analytically, connect dots across datasets, and guide strategic decisions will be central to success.
This leader must work cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Marketing, Digital Ops, and Tech. They will lead a team while also partnering with external vendors and internal stakeholders to build HMN's measurement infrastructure. A collaborative mindset is essential—not just for team leadership, but for embedding insights into every stage of the client and campaign lifecycle.
The SVP must own delivery of measurement strategy across all campaigns, ensuring insights are delivered on time and aligned with client expectations. They will be accountable for the accuracy, credibility, and business impact of insights produced, and must demonstrate consistent follow-through on strategic initiatives and internal KPIs tied to client growth and platform maturity.
This role demands expertise in third-party data and analytics tools like IQVIA, Symphony, and Crossix, along with strong working knowledge of omnichannel measurement frameworks such as MMM and attribution models. While hands-on technical skills like SQL are not required, fluency in digital analytics concepts and performance metrics across screen, print, podcast, and digital is essential.
