POSITION OVERVIEW :
NYCEDC's Real Estate Transaction Services Group (RETS) : RETS is the City's primary department for underwriting, structuring, and executing real estate and economic development transactions on city-owned land, with the goal of transforming underutilized properties into projects that support job creation, industry-based economic development goals, and affordable community development throughout New York City.
Position Overview : The Senior Vice President (“SVP”) in RETS will supervise a portfolio of real estate finance and development professionals on projects central to NYC's economic development goals. The SVP will be responsible for a suite of projects at every stage of development, from inception to closing. The ideal candidate has significant real estate industry experience, specifically with NYC-area development projects. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of public policy objectives and regulatory processes.
