Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer (Enterprise Monitoring & Automation) - THE BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON : Job Details

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. 10+ years of experience with enterprise infrastructure monitoring tools such as Prometheus, SolarWinds Orion, NetScout. This should encompass both usage of the tool along with its deployment and administration in a large complex environment Strong working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems. 3+ years of experience in development using languages such as Java or Python. 3+ years of experience in development of scripts for the Unix (Bash etc...) Windows (PowerShell, VB platform) Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
