We're seeking a future team member for the role ofSenior Vice President, Architecture Managerto join our Engineering team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible to deliver the tactical solutions and strategic architecture for one or more technology units specializing in one of the architect professions: infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, solutions, or enterprise. promotes technological architect standards and motivates assigned team toward professional growth and managerial excellence.
  • May contribute to onboarding college graduates and interns. Provide architecture excellence to a technology team in one of the specialty areas: infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, solutions, or enterprise. Promotes architectural standards within assigned technology units.
  • Strategizes and contributes to enterprise level technological initiatives on architectures, patterns, and standards. May contribute to recruiting new architects and will work with senior management on the effective allocation of resources. Focus on team engagement and professional development. Ensures that the architect teams stay abreast of leading-edge innovations and trends and acquires new tools as appropriate. Focus on employee engagement and retention.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. Experience working in Agile Methodologies and delivering outcomes for stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.12+ years of experience in technology and architecture roles required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Technical Skills -

System Design– ability to design complex systems with scalability, maintainability, and performance

Architecture Patterns– Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven, layered, cloud-native etc.

Cloud Expertise– Strong familiarity with architecture, services, and deployment models

APIs– design and governance

Security– knowledge of encryption, authentication, authorization, threat modeling

Technology Breadth– awareness of multiple programming languages and framework

Strategic and Analytical thinking– Trade off analysis, Road mapping, Risk Management, Business Alignment.
