Pershing LLC seeks a Senior Vice President, Application Development Manager for its Jersey City, NJ location.

DUTIES: Perform all phases of the systems development and implementation process. Provide analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for client application systems across diverse platforms, environments, software, hardware, and tools. Analyze organizational needs and interface with clients to develop systems that meet their business requirements. Handle application programming, installation, and maintenance projects. Ensure the availability, integrity, and stability of production systems by managing resources and responding promptly to issues. Promote adherence to development and quality standards, and communicate project information effectively. Act as an advocate for change management, innovation, and creativity in technological solutions. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and ten (10) years of experience in a related IT role within the financial services industry. Experience must include brokerage and trust accounting, investor communication products, trust accounting with GlobalPlus, software container orchestration with Kubernetes, document composition with OpenText's Extreme and IBM AFP, and enterprise development in COBOL/CICS, Python, JAVA, and Angular.
