Our growing team has an open role for a sharp, motivated Business Valuation Sr. Associate to join our valuation team. You will be responsible for supporting and executing business and asset valuations across a wide range of industries for purposes including financial reporting, M&A, restructuring, lending, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:• Conduct financial analysis, market research, and industry benchmarking.• Build financial models, perform discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, and apply market-based valuation methods.• Assist in the preparation of valuation reports, client presentations, and internaldocumentation.• Analyze historical and projected financial statements.• Collaborate with senior team members to gather client information and develop valuation approaches.• Support due diligence efforts by identifying key value drivers and risks.• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.• 3-5 years of valuation, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, orconsulting experience preferred.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills.• Solid understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, market comps, precedent transactions).• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within ateam.• Progress toward a professional designation (ASA, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
In compliance with the New York and Illinois Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in Illinois is between $120,000 and $140,000. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate's compensation. Please note that the salary range listed for this position is based on the level of experience outlined in the job description. If a candidate's experience differs from the requirements, the salary may be adjusted accordingly.
