Overview We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join a team creating software that presents the capabilities and controls of scientific specialty measurement instruments for a wide range of end-user personas.As a UX Designer , you must be passionate about all things UX; striving for simplicity eliminating any areas of complexity and confusion. You will work in a dynamic environment, designing for a range of target platforms, including Kiosk, full desktop systems, browser-based and mobile.As a Senior UX Designer at Waters, you will be the focal point for bringing together all the components that make great design. You'll lead the creation of digital products made from a user's perspective.You will work with Product Owners to make strategic and tactical UX decisions related to design and usability as well as features and functions. You'll ideally be able to demonstrate outstanding creativity, a highly detailed nature, and the ability to quickly learn complex concepts in order to define and solve challenging user interface problems.Responsibilities As a Senior UX Designer, your main responsibilities will include:Devising interaction strategies in sync with user goals and clients' business goals, develops navigation and structure, designs wireframes or interactive prototypes, and organizes contentDesigning journeys and experiences; not just pages, screens and componentsFacilitating internal team communication, bridging the gap between content, user research, functional development, design system, and productPresenting design solutions to all levels of stakeholdersCollaborating with other designers in multiple offices: helping to mentor juniors and support principlesTirelessly advocating for the needs and goals of real usersInfluencing, sharing and collaborating early in the feature definition processLooking for simpler, but better solutions to design problemsFirst line of action in scope definition and design level of effort.Qualifications We'd love to hear from you if you have:Strong UX Design experience in a software or web development environment creating web based or SaaS applicationsDeep understanding of the Interactive Development Process - thorough knowledge and several years of experience planning, documenting and leading interactive projectsImmersed in UX best practices, able to recommend procedural changes and efficiencyA Designer's Eye – Must be able to translate complex concepts and interactions into visually coherent wireframes or prototypesProjects a strong collaborative and consultative presence to conduct effective questioning and information-gathering engagementsDemonstrated ability to innovate and design exceptional user experiences; must have a portfolio ready to share and presentExperience working in and contributing to Design SystemsExperience working within Agile teams – Jira knowledge required.Bachelor's Degree in HCI or Graphic Design and/or relevant field of study, or equivalent commercial experience.Company Description Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in analytical instruments, separations technologies, and software, serving the life, materials, food, and environmental sciences for over 65 years.
