Job Location : North Hollywood,CA, USA
This position will support the East Valley Region, primarily in the North Hollywood Imaging Center. The East Valley Region is currently made up of UCLA Health Santa Clarita Imaging and Interventional Center, UCLA Health Porter Ranch Primary & Specialty Care, UCLA Health North Hollywood Imaging and Interventional Center, and UCLA Health MPTF Toluca Lake Primary Care. This position participates in on-call, holiday, and weekend schedules, prepared by the manager and supports one of the medical centers in the UCLA Health system. Additionally, participation in rotating shifts is required, as needed.

Senior Sonographer (Advancement into Senior Sonographer job classification will be assessed after 6 months with UCLA Health):
Salary Range (Staff through Senior): $55.94 - $76.12 Hourly

Senior Ultrasound Technologist
General Requirements
* Ability to work with other sonographers to provide direction and training in the specialized area of Vascular Ultrasound, in addition to General Ultrasound - required
* BLS/CPR Certificate - required
* Graduate of CAAHAP ultrasound program - strongly preferred
* AAS or higher in Medical Sonography - preferred
* RDMS (AB, OB/GYN and RVT) - minimum requirement
Advanced skills in Vascular ultrasound - preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors, physicians, nurses, staff and others in a professional and courteous manner
* Ability to accept and carry out oral and written instructions accurately
* Ability to employ independent decision making, prioritize work, while handling multiple tasks to completion within allotted time
* Ability to show attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
* Basic typing skills to input various data into RIS and HIS Information systems.
* Knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to distinguish between types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses
