Senior Transit Driver - PT Sub - City of New London Wisconsin : Job Details

This position is responsible for the part-time day-to-day operation of the Transit Bus for elderly and disabled patrons; transport to medical and other appointments, nursing homes, nutrition meal sites, and shopping. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Transport elderly/disabled citizens to and from various appointments within city limits. Inspect and document daily vehicle pre-trip/post-trip inspection logs; lights, brakes, tires, etc. Maintain daily records of vehicle transports. Operate vehicle wheelchair lift, secure wheel chair or scooter. Collect and maintain funds donated from transports. Assure all work is done in conformance of City safety standards.
