Education

Bachelors degree or higher in an applicable technical/management/business discipline is desired. Bachelors in an engineering discipline is preferred. A Masters degree and professional development including honors, publications, professional licenses, and certifications, along with similar evidence of professional accomplishments, are also desired.

Experience

Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in technical/management areas related to research, development, testing, evaluation, and/or operations of major combat weapon systems. Candidates with related experience but less than 10 years are encouraged to apply for journeyman positions.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Thorough understanding of DoD and/or Department of Navy RDT&E processes.
• Proficiency in Test and Evaluation and acquisition processes; familiarity with DOD 5000 series and MIL-STD 810.
• Ability to develop and coordinate T&E strategies and manage resources effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Desired Qualifications

• Expertise with US Navy Weapon Systems and DoD/Army systems research and acquisition.
• Prior Level II TandE DAWIA certification.
• Experience in writing and coordinating approval for T&E Master Plans, overseeing T&E teams, supporting program reviews, and coordinating with agencies like DOTE, JITC, and Service OT units.

Skills Needed

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.

Duties

Manage all aspects of weapon system T&E activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and reporting at various system levels. Develop test strategies, coordinate with test agencies, analyze data, and prepare briefings. Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, maintaining communication with stakeholders.
