Job Location: Lemont Furnace, PA (Uniontown area)
Position Summary
Responsible for leading a group of engineers on a technical activity and completion of activity on time and within budget. Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, and subsystems. Use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments. Involved with the analysis, design, development, and implementation of new and/or existing systems/subsystems. May include architectural design, requirements engineering, or others. Determine system integration and test specifications. Support acquisition of hardware and software (or subcontractor services as needed).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading a group of engineers on a technical activity and completion of activity on time and budget
Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems
Use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments
Hands-on integration and troubleshooting of complex computer hardware and software systems
Conduct cyber security assessments and implement remediation, as needed
Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
Provide budget, cost, and schedule estimate input for design assignments
Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services
Drive the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements
Develop prototypes to retire key development risks
Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
Participates in preparation of proposals
Provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel
Lead and direct the work of others as assigned
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Attend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetings
Lead less experienced engineers
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical/computer engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience
Fluency in technologies and application domain
Must be able to obtain/maintain the appropriate level of government issued security clearance and/or access
Experience with Redhat Linux, Microsoft Windows Operating Environments, Virtualization Management products from VM-Ware, etc.
Ability to lead a technical group independently
Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:
Experience with Cisco network configuration
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 20 lbs. up to 25% of time
Walking, up to 25% of time
Climbing, Bending, Standing, Stooping up to 10% of time
Sitting up to 75% of time
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of time

The current schedule for this position is:
9/80 work schedule, every other Friday off. Other flexible schedules may be available.
