We turn progress and innovation into reality, working with our customers to build a better world for everyone.Career Area : EngineeringJob DescriptionAs a Senior Technical Regulatory Compliance Engineer , you will support product regulatory compliance programs by managing compliance risks and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations for intended markets.What You Will DoAdvise and collaborate with product teams, design, control, and operations to ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements.Stay current on product regulatory and technology requirements and understand their application to Caterpillar products.Coordinate third-party testing activities with external suppliers.Prepare technical compliance documentation for global market access.Use established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage compliance information.Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements related to compliance risks.Represent Caterpillar in regional industry technical committees as required.Basic QualificationsKnowledge of risk and compliance management, understanding potential consequences and organizational resources for risk mitigation.Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to learn from mistakes, utilizing checklists to ensure error-free output.Ability to collaborate and advise across manufacturing areas, gaining trust and buy-in.Proactive decision-making and critical thinking to identify business needs versus risks and advise accordingly.Preferred QualificationsExperience with product compliance in industrial or consumer markets in the US and Europe.Knowledge of mobile industrial products, especially construction machines and Work Tools.Additional InformationWork Schedule: 5 days in-office per week.Travel: Up to 15% domestically and internationally.Relocation: Available for qualified candidates.Visa Sponsorship: Not available.Salary Range : $110,520 - $165,840, depending on experience and location.Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), HSA, FSA, wellness programs, employee assistance, discounts, career development, bonuses, disability, life insurance, parental leave, adoption benefits, tuition reimbursement, and more.This position requires onsite work five days a week.
