Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to support one of our top clients, a leading global asset management firm. As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead and manage complex programs of work.
Responsibilities
- Lead program delivery to support long-term business objectives that are complex and integrated
- Provide hands-on software development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
- Create clear scope definition across all areas of the program, including planning, communications, change management, and implementation.
- Design, develop, and manage complex integrated roadmaps and delivery plans in a dynamic environment that is constantly adapting to the changing need of the customer
- Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership while effectively driving program delivery; produce program reporting to executive stakeholders on the status and health of the program
- Capture, resolve, and escalate risk & impediments to ensure that program delivery continues effectively and unencumbered; ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget
- Support senior-level executives and support the creation of C-level presentation materials to support the communication of program-level status and information for various stakeholders
- Work closely with Scrum Leads to drive consistency across teams
- Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders
- Work directly with engineering teams to understand their needs, and design solutions that enable developers to operate more effectively, securely and safely.
- Work with your manager, peers, partners, and customers to refine and deliver on the vision and purpose of your programs.
- Work directly with service teams, cloud platform, infrastructure, and administrative teams to identify opportunities to improve security posture.
- Drive process improvements and work with service owners to develop balanced solutions to technical challenges collaboratively.
Eligibility Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Business Administration or a related field of study.
- At least 7 years of experience in technical program management
- Able to manage multiple large concurrent technology programs or portfolios.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior level executives
- Work independently to define, plan, and execute technical projects; able to distill data and articulate rationale for making difficult trade-offs and prioritizations.
- Motivate teams (not always reporting directly to you) to solve problems and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple geographies
- Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive large-scale technical delivery at all levels of the organization
- Have experience using planning and task management tools (Gantt, Jira) and common project management practices to support delivery objectives.
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $140,000-$165,000 along with eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
